Nope. That’s how it’s supposed to work but I get tons of political posts (not from people who I follow) despite not interacting with political posts. It’s likely that the algorithm is showing me stuff that people I follow tend to like and interact with, but that specifically does not apply to me. I also have a few accounts I rarely used at all that defaulted to getting blasted with right wing nuttery in the notifications. “In case you missed it, here’s an absolutely batshit take on vaccines”.
I don’t want these platforms making decisions for me or making suggestions. Just show me posts from ALL the people I follow in the order they post them and don’t threaten to feed their art to some shitty AI.
