The Legend of PIPI has been nominated for a Cartoon Crave award! While it's exciting news, we are literally THE ONLY independent production in all of the nominations outside of the "Best Web Series" category. It's David vs Goliath (or PIPI vs the Minotaur). Is there any way that an independent animation with literally ZERO budget can possibly win?

Thank you so much for helping! There’s incredible things happening in independent animation and It’d be great for more people to start seeing that animation can be more than Disney, Nickelodeon, Time Warner, etc.

Most animation is a team effort, but this had literally no budget. It was a labor of love. Decisions were made from creative vision, not audience testing/marketing/committees. There’s little chance we can compete with groups that have millions of $$$ for advertising, but I hope with some community help we can at least make a statement!

just voted!!!! legend of pipi blew me away when i first saw it, so many animators i admire worked on it and it just fuels my dream of becoming an illustrator

Thank you!!! Yeah, the artists were incredibly talented and watching them go out into the workforce now is really inspiring. If you want to be an illustrator, go for it!
